They are of all the prison population, statsistically less likely to commit suicide than those sentenced for any other crime.

13 1/2 years is a pretty long time to be banged up considering the guy gets discounts for
(a) No prior convictions, and
(b) pleading guilty.
I’m not saying that I think 13 years or so is the right sentence, but it is longer than it could have been.
I know a couple of screws, and they tell stories of these filth “accidentally” being put in with the general population. Then its a case oops, sorry about that, but we’ll keep you nice and safe in the hospital wing for the next 3 months.

IMO, way too lax.
I can only think of the most harshest punishments, including tormenting him to death, for what he did to those children.
That includes all pedofiles. This includes chopping off thier members and making them an “it” for the rest of thier lives.

I take the line that indulging in retribution as punishment is dangerous to the self.
