Home, home on the range…
where the deer better move ass if they don’t want to be dinner!

Well given Steve’s marksmanship they don’t have a lot to worry about but I managed to ping the target a couple of times with a couple of Oswalds toys.

Say what you like, we right wing bastards have the best stuff and no liberal guilt holding us back. Thats right, we’re conservative, we blog and we’re armed. Get used to it!
The technical description for this sort of activity is a “yippie”.
Offically it was a range visit for checking suitability for siege engines. It passed.

Yep, we have the best toys and the hand-wringers just have to get their jollies trying to have them banned!
Hopefully, I will have the Walker Colt next time. That takes twice the powder charge of those Remingtons- then you will see some flames & smoke!

And I’ll bring the Castle Crusher 1000.

We could have a bloggers shoot-em-up somewhere in the North Island. Around Taupo would be good.
I’ll bring the Clark targets and some automatic weapons, anyone else interested?

I’ll bring the Troll Flinger 1000.

So you guys get to own guns? Is that a serious paperwork thing?
July 25, 2006 at 4:35 pm
A fair bit of paperwork, but if you have a clean record, not a problem for a A cat. licence. I had to jump through quite a few more hoops to get the pistols!

I spoke to the club president just before. He said it would be great to have a Ballista firing on the opening day of our annual big event, along with the cannons.
Some kind of shoot-out could be fun.
We usually get quite a bit of press from this event- see the latest “Guns & Hunting”

Spit roat venison, lamb and beef is usually on the menu.
