Well, from the people that claim to be in touch with mainstream New Zealand we have a truly desperate fund raising effort to be forever after known as “The Big Shake Down”. Having already stolen our money (and an election) they have finally been shamed into paying the money back. But being good socialists they would rather not use their own money (the money they get paid by virtue of having stolen an election to get the jobs they have now) so they want YOU to pay for it. Again!

Their efforts to date include this sad sorry effort - a Trademe auction for a Labour Pledge Card.

To date even one of their most ardent toadies - logix, well known troll and myopic leftist denial monkey - is only prepared to pay $30 toward their $825,000:00 bill.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the political spectrum it looks like all the big business, golf playing, Exclusive Brethren in association with lawyers and well known right leaning journalists (collectively known as the “Vast Right Wing Conspiracy”) have managed to attract slightly more attention with their auction of the same item. with hits now exceeding 20,000 and bids over $400, with the proceeds helping to fund the legal action against Clark & Co.

The VRWC have managed to answer several hundred questions (many highly amusing) while the Clark & Co team have unfortunately forgotten they’re not in parliament now, and seem to have simply “addressed” their questions by reading and ignoring them. All 11 of them.

We might have to rename logix Tragicomix by the look of it.

UPDATE: Interesting that Labour are not only not answering their questions, they are deleting them. The number I saw hit 12 and has now dropped to 6.
