Why I don’t give a crap how hard she cries.

So a hard-core lefty sees the light and gets all emotional. DSD felt for her pain… briefly. I’m stuck on not giving a rats if she looses half her body weight via her tear ducts.

Here’s why.

If you have read the names you may have noticed one appears 4 times, they represent 6 lives stolen and countless others effected. Hila Hatuel aged 11, Hadar Hatuel aged 9, Roni Hatuel aged 7 and Merav Hatuel aged 2 were murdered on May 2nd 2004 by two Palestinian terrorists, who forced their mothers car off the road, and then walked up to the vehicle and shot each one of them in the head as they hugged each other. Tali Hautel was 34 years old and 8 months pregnant with her first son. Merav was still strapped into her car seat.

I have no tears for those that enable this to happen and her own tears do not touch me.

The only comfort she can have is the possibility that there may be no god or afterlife for her. God help her if there is.

Indeed Murray - where I differ from you is I believe redemption is possible. This woman has atoned in part for her previous errors and may continue to do so and hopefully will open some other peoples eyes in the process. Forgiveness is possible.

I did a post on the Hatuel girls.

I finally was able to watch the video, and although generally speaking I agree with Andrei, in this particular case I am not impressed.

yeah, redemption is possible, but I’m not convinced she’s there yet.

Perhaps redemption is possible, but I don’t see any reason why I should feel sympathetic to her in the mean time.

She’s crying because she’s discovering how badly she’s been misled, and because she’s discovering what utter monsters the Palestinians have become. It’s certainly a human tragedy — but it was obvious years ago to anyone willing to look at the situation with open eyes.

For me the name that rings is Danielle Shefi. She was murdered in her bed by Palestinian gunmen, in one of the myriad cases where the Palestinians committed war crimes — but we never hear about that. Just about all kinds of claims of Israeli war crimes.

If that old woman was surprised by what she learned about the Palestinians, it’s because she was willfully blind before that. She cries now — but she’s crying for herself, and for the Palestinian kids. She isn’t yet crying for the Israeli kids like Danielle Shefi. Be damned to her.

My sympathy is on hold until I see what she does from her on.

If she is going to truly repent, it will show in her future actions (she’ll do a 180 and be active in the right direction). If not, we’ll likely just see her shift to another popular PC cause (such as over-protecting some cute animals or global warming).
