Maybe Kiwis are more tired of having one single minority culture rammed down their throats than the Welsh who have only had to put up with 1500 years of invasion and occupation.

Men of Harlech no less - interestingly (I could go over to Whaleoil’s site to mention this, but he’ll tell me to fuck off Every kiwi I’ve mentioned it to reckons the ABs should have backed off the haka stoush, whereas every welsh git reckons as hosts, the WRU should have.

I blame the continuing bad blood between the WRU & NZRU.

Well I can’t tell which one is you, none of them look like Peter Jackson to me.

BTW - that bit about soup ingredients is precisely the reason I will never eat at the Welsh restaurant in town. Well, that & the horrid suspicion that “Welsh Cuisine” is representative of what my old Gran used to serve up.

However, I can proudly say I’ve had Haggis & Chips in some little Highland town whose name I cannot recall. And I’d have it again.
