One of Laurence Simon’s family, Piper, died suddenly earlier today of a suspected blood clot, aged 10.
Piper was one of Laurence’s four cats made famous by his cat cams, and the second to pass, with Edloe having died last year. They are survived by Nardo and Frisky.
In other somewhat happier feline related news, Pestilence has made a full recovery and her eye has cleared. She is now in full voice demanding to be allowed outside again every ten minutes. Which ain’t gonna happen.
We’ve settled on her going out for 30 minute periods while I sit outside to watch for potential threats – not looking at any specific prick in particular.
She seems quite happy just to sit next to me anyway.
