Catapult Plans & Kit #2
The Mangonel

Takes about 1/2 an hour to build if you’re me. Comes with everything you need to make it including glue. All you’ll need is a pair of pliers to bend the wire for the hook.
Or you can just buy the plans and do it all yourself.
UPDATE: Due to a couple of enquiries the Mangonel Kit and the Plans & Instructions are now available for ordering.
The Plans & Instructions for scratch building are $5.00 + $1.50 P&P
The full kit set which includes the plans, instructions, all the parts pre-cut, modeling clay for the ammo and glue is $17.80 + $4.20 p&p. Actually the only tool you need to finish is a pair of pliers to put the screw eyes in. You’ll be flinging little blobs of clay about the living-room within an hour.
Packages will take up to two weeks to arrive so have patience.

You can purchase direct from me using a paypal payment to this address oceania@distance-simulations.com and the site will up next week along with the other kits and plans. Unfortunately I can’t put up a paypal button because wordpress kills the code and the instructions on how to stop it doing that has too many words for me.

And the third design will be a trebuchet?

Yes it is.
I’ll be making that one later after someone has bought something from me.
I should have a new site up for the catapults within a couple of days.

How far does it fly those projectiles?

I haven’t finished tuning them yet but they’re throwing 12′-15′ at the moment.
As mentioned they are meant for low power indoor work.
Chucky though is throwing a solid 300′ if you want more range.

Yes I know about the metric measurements on the US English version. I’m still working on the foreign language version.
