Although what the hell would you do with a plate that could get you mistaken for the minister of finance?

    Skodas, are now relatively a class act … now when I was in the Czeck Republic they were everywhere, satellite navigation screens, VW designed & powered … in fact looked nicer &, I believe, performed more deftly than the Chefan’s pet SAABs… so no longer a term of denigration, unlike the 1968 1000MB I used to own whose bonnet used to fly up unexpectedly & the only redeeming feature was you could remove the rear bumper & panel, tie the motor to a tree & push the body away for the frequent clutch replacement & recondition. So perhaps a bit of perseverative thinking there Murray, showing your age??
