I know you don’t watch anime. You know that I do. There was a really strange military series last year called “Strike Witches”, about magical girls who could use machines called “Striker Units” to fly, in 1944, fighting against an alien invader who, in this alternate history, showed up just before WWII would have started, and ended up devastating France and Germany.
Why am I bringing this up? Because the ultimate villain in the series turned out to be an RAF vice marshall who was patterned after Trafford Leigh-Mallory, the man who nearly destroyed Parks’ career out of jealousy.
Even the Japanese know who the bad guy was.
