What the story doesn’t say.

Israel and Lebanon had a prisoner exchange.

The Lebanese got some terrorists back and a pile of bodies of those who had been killed attack Israel and Israel got back two Israelis that were captured by Hezbolah.

what they neglected to mention was that they decided to kill the Israelis rather than hand them back alive.

One of the hard and fast rules that has keep Israel alive for over 6 decades is not negotiating with terroists. Not sure this new policy of bending over and taking it is actually in Israels best interests. Maybe they should kill their prisoners before exchanging them too.

  1. Maybe we should stop taking prisoners, period.

BTW, they were not merely ‘captured’, they were kidnapped from Israel’s territory in time of peace.
