    Chicago precinct workers get that much for ‘walking around money’ in aldemanic elections.

    In this country $900,000 will buy you the election.

    Even when you steal it from the taxpayers. You then rewrite the law to make it legal.

    It depends on the election here. Important stuff like President of the US or Chicago Alderman are very pricey. Minor offices like Governor of Illinois come cheaper.
