If you’re one of those who believe that this is not just necessary but also possible, speak to us. Let’s talk about what that mass civil disobedience is going to look like.

If you’re one of those who have spent their lives undermining progressive climate legislation, bankrolling junk science, fueling spurious debates around false solutions, and cattle-prodding democratically-elected governments into submission, then hear this:

We know who you are. We know where you live. We know where you work.

And we be many, but you be few.

Amazing. Machiavelli would have said that language was created to provide a higher level of manipulation. It makes sense. Beautiful words and smiles can dazzle and confuse the weak. If you follow the link, you’ll see the website quickly deleted this verbiage and issued a non-apology explanation. The mask slipped and they quickly tried to put it back on. What this post revealed was what Machiavelli warned the Prince to hide. The truth about your motives and ambitions. Don’t delude yourself. These people mean to cause you harm to save you from yourself.

For those that need reminding…

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron’s cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience. — C. S. Lewis

As I’ve tried to tell my “progressive” (meaning fruity tooty liberal beyond logic) friends who just don’t understand: One man’s nirvana is another man’s hell. You can’t force your view of the world on everybody. That makes you evil.

I’m reading “Marxism” by Thomas Sowell. What a fruit tooty Marx was.
