A couple of notes:

First for “AG”. As according to your rules I’m only allowed to call you a liar to your face and apprently post my home address to do this ( yeah sure thats going to happen) while you get to abuse me from the comfort and cover of initials I offer the following:

I will be here: Feel free to drop in where I will be more than happy to call you a liar to your face as per and in accordance with. Ask for the Artillery Range Marshall. I’ll be able to spare you about 12 seconds which is all it takes to say “you’re a liar, have a nice day”.

For readers, both of you, Dean and the other reader, I’m away from the computer for a couple days bombarding stuff and evidently providing an abuse service for the terminally liberal. Please flip though old posts until I get back.

There’s a line between bias and outright lies. McRoberts is the wrong side of it.

1. The programme standards which I believe were breached are as follows:

The program featured an interview with Mike McRoberts in Israel regarding the calls by some reports for Israel to be charged with war crimes. Mr McRoberts presented a history of Israel Palestine conflict with was biased and factually inaccurate leading to a false understading of some elementary issues in the situation.

On the basis of his report I believe that TV3 has viloated the stanards 4,5 and 6. Balance, accuracy and fairness.

2. The reasons that I found this programme breached the programme standards listed above are (use specific examples from the programme and explain your complaint fully. You may choose to copy and paste from a Word document.):

Specifically Mr McRoberts reported that when Palestine was given to Israel the Palestinians were forced to move giving the impression that a self ruled Arab nation called Palestine was handed over to another people. In actuallity the area which was a British mandate within which resided both Jews and Arabs. Under the Unitied Nations the area ceased to be British controlled and was divided into two states being Arab and Jewish controlled. The Arabs refused to accept the United Nations solution and demanded the entire country and lauching military action against Jewish settlements aided by foriegn military forces from the Arab world. Arabs were not then and never have been forced out of Jewish controlled areas or Israel. Many resident of Israel are Arab Muslims. The military failures of the Arabs forces lead to the loss of land. This is a consequence of their agressive response to creation of the two states. Secondly Mr McRoberts also stated that since then the Jewish population as “flourished” while the Palestinian populations has “gone backwards”. This is quite simply a demonstably untrue. The Arab population in 1948 was around 1.3 million while the Jewish population was around 600,000. the Palestinian population is now estimated at nearly 11million while the population of Israel including non-Jewish Israelis is around 7.3million. Clealry both populations have increasde with that of the Palestinians being well ahead of the Israelis.

Make yours here or simply accept what they want you to hear as being the only voice.

Support Geert Wilders. You don’t have to support his message, just his right to free speech.

I would also note that not one single prosecution has been laid against those in his country who call for genocide and the forcing of their beliefs on other. They evidently do have free speech. The prosecution of Geert Wilders is born out of fear, weakness, apeasment and submission to extremists predilection for violence. Apeasment has never worked and it is the road to destruction.

So no to judicial censorship and sign the petition.

Cheap Roman tent

I’m making four of these for the next event which is now one week away. It uses 12X9 two painters dropsheets which arer currently on sale at Bunnings and include a floor runner which supplies the extra bit needed for the door flaps and makes two Roman tunics in the deal. Note: They say 12X9 but are actually metric 3.6M X 2.7M.

Some knowledge of Roman tents and their framing is assumed. If you don’t know about the framing ask me in three weeks time after my exams have finished and I’ll draw that up for you as well.

Well here at Hitting Metal With A Hammer we know that looking directly at even just images of the Chosen One can be hard on motal eyes and some times we just need a break from the rapture of being in his media supplied presence. What the hell is a “tree butch it”?

Some elementary reserch is something that doco makers seem to think is beneath them.

Someone give me money and I’ll give you a doco that isn’t fos and is actually interesting.

For two years I donated a portion of all my online sales (what few there were) to Sodiers Angels so they could buy voice recognition laptops for servicemen who were unable to use their hands, often because they didn’t have hands any more.

Last week diognosed as having carpel tunnel syndrom and and am now down to typing with a finger.  I’ve been adivised the solution is to get voice recognition software if I’m going to be taking four papers next semester. So arthritis, gout and now cts and I need to produce a couple of thousand words a week that make sense to stay in the game.

God clearly has a sense of humor.
